, was
one
of
many
lodges
-
the
Rolling
Green
,
Town
and
Country
and
Pacific
-
that
lined
the
pre-U.S
.
80
stretch
between
Sacramento
and
Reno
. With the
advent
of the
super
freeway
, the
scorned
Ritz
fell
into
connection
with
prostitution
and
murder
,
only
to be
condemned
and
demolished
in the
early
2000s
,
under
the
auspices
of the
Sacramento
Housing
and
Redevelopment
Agency
.
It
is
pictured
here in
1952
.
